Tribal Resolution:

The Tribe must submit an official resolution indicating their desire to join ITBC. This resolution is typically passed by the Tribal council or governing body, demonstrating formal support for buffalo restoration and management on Tribal lands.

2

 Application:

The Tribe submits an application for membership to ITBC. This application may include the Tribal resolution, information about the Tribe's land, plans for buffalo management, and a commitment to buffalo conservation and restoration.

3

Approval by ITBC Board:

The application and resolution are reviewed by ITBC's Board of Directors, which consists of representatives from member Tribes. The Board votes on whether to accept the new Tribe into the organization.

4

Membership Dues:

Once approved, the Tribe becomes a full member of ITBC and will pay membership dues, which help support the organization's work.
