Necropsy, the process of examining an animal after death, isn't just for veterinarians or meat inspectors. Regularly conducting examinations and collecting samples from animals that have died, whether from harvesting or natural causes, is a valuable way to monitor your herd's health and detect diseases early before they cause significant harm.
