For nearly 30 years, ITBC has worked to restore buffalo to Tribal lands, and has grown to a membership of 69 Native Nations. (Read more about ITBC’s Member Tribes here.) ITBC’s work supports the inherent sovereignty of each of its Members, who have preserved, reestablished, and forged new connections with the Buffalo Nation for a variety of reasons and in a variety of ways.
While the mission and purpose of each of our Members’ buffalo programs may be different, buffalo can provide an excellent and nutritious food source for the community and others. Many of ITBC’s Member Tribes offer buffalo meat and products for sale. This list will be always growing, so check back often for updates!
